Were We to send down an angel, the affair would have been decreed and they would not be respited. 798 6 9 ولو جعلناه ملكا لجعلناه رجلا وللبسنا عليهم ما يلبسون And had We made him an angel, We would still have made him a man, and We would have confounded for them that which they are confounding. 799 6 10 ولقد استهزئ برسل من قبلك فحاق بالذين سخروا منهم ما كانوا به يستهزئون And assuredly mocked were the apostles before thee, wherefore that whereat they scoffed beset these who had been mocking. 800 6 11 قل سيروا في الأرض ثم انظروا كيف كان عاقبة المكذبين Say thou: go about in the earth and then see what wise hath been the end of the beliers. 801 6 12 قل لمن ما في السماوات والأرض قل لله كتب على نفسه الرحمة ليجمعنكم إلى يوم القيامة لا ريب فيه الذين خسروا أنفسهم فهم لا يؤمنون Say thou: whose is whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth? Say thou: Allah's. He hath prescribed mercy for Himself. Surely He shall gather you together on the Day of Judgement whereof there is no doubt. Those who have lost themselves shall not believe. 802 6 13 وله ما سكن في الليل والنهار وهو السميع العليم His is whatsoever dwelleth in the night and the day; and He is the Hearer, the Knower. 803 6 14 قل أغير الله أتخذ وليا فاطر السماوات والأرض وهو يطعم ولا يطعم قل إني أمرت أن أكون أول من أسلم ولا تكونن من المشركين Say thou: Shall I take for a patron any other than Allah, the Maker of the heavens and the earth! And He feedeth, and is not fed.
