Do not befriend disbelievers in place of Muslims; do you wish to give Allah a clear proof against you? 638 4 145 إن المنافقين في الدرك الأسفل من النار ولن تجد لهم نصيرا Undoubtedly the hypocrites are in the deepest segment of hell; and you will never find any supporter for them. 639 4 146 إلا الذين تابوا وأصلحوا واعتصموا بالله وأخلصوا دينهم لله فأولئك مع المؤمنين وسوف يؤت الله المؤمنين أجرا عظيما Except those who repented and reformed themselves and held fast to Allah’s rope and made their religion sincerely only for Allah – so they are with the Muslims; and Allah will soon bestow upon the believers a great reward. 640 4 147 ما يفعل الله بعذابكم إن شكرتم وآمنتم وكان الله شاكرا عليما And what will Allah gain by punishing you, if you acknowledge the truth and accept faith?
