Therefore lift your gaze – do you see any cracks? 5245 67 4 ثم ارجع البصر كرتين ينقلب إليك البصر خاسئا وهو حسير Then lift your gaze again, your gaze will return towards you, unsuccessful and weak. 5246 67 5 ولقد زينا السماء الدنيا بمصابيح وجعلناها رجوما للشياطين وأعتدنا لهم عذاب السعير And indeed We have beautified the lower heaven with lamps, and have made them weapons against the devils, and have kept prepared for them the punishment of the blazing fire. 5247 67 6 وللذين كفروا بربهم عذاب جهنم وبئس المصير And for those who disbelieved in their Lord, is the punishment of hell; and what a wretched outcome! 5248 67 7 إذا ألقوا فيها سمعوا لها شهيقا وهي تفور They will hear it hissing when they will be thrown into it, and it is boiling. 5249 67 8 تكاد تميز من الغيظ كلما ألقي فيها فوج سألهم خزنتها ألم يأتكم نذير As if about to explode with rage; whenever a group is thrown into it, the guardians of hell will ask them, “Did not a Herald of Warning come to you?” 5250 67 9 قالوا بلى قد جاءنا نذير فكذبنا وقلنا ما نزل الله من شيء إن أنتم إلا في ضلال كبير They will say, “Yes, why not – indeed a Herald of Warning did come to us – in response we denied and said ‘Allah has not sent down anything – you are not except in a great error’.” 5251 67 10 وقالوا لو كنا نسمع أو نعقل ما كنا في أصحاب السعير And they will say, “Had we listened or understood, we would not have been among the people of hell.” 5252 67 11 فاعترفوا بذنبهم فسحقا لأصحاب السعير So now they admit their sins!
