Do not sell My verses for a little price and fear Me. 49 2 42 ولا تلبسوا الحق بالباطل وتكتموا الحق وأنتم تعلمون Do not confound truth with falsehood, nor knowingly hide the truth while you know. 50 2 43 وأقيموا الصلاة وآتوا الزكاة واركعوا مع الراكعين Establish your prayers, pay the obligatory charity, and bow with those who bow. 51 2 44 أتأمرون الناس بالبر وتنسون أنفسكم وأنتم تتلون الكتاب أفلا تعقلون Would you order righteousness on others and forget it yourselves? Yet you recite the Book, have you no sense? 52 2 45 واستعينوا بالصبر والصلاة وإنها لكبيرة إلا على الخاشعين And seek help in patience and prayer. For it is heavy, except to the humble, 53 2 46 الذين يظنون أنهم ملاقو ربهم وأنهم إليه راجعون who reckon that they will meet their Lord and that to Him they will return. 54 2 47 يا بني إسرائيل اذكروا نعمتي التي أنعمت عليكم وأني فضلتكم على العالمين Children of Israel, remember the favors I have bestowed on you, and that I have preferred you (the prophets among you) above the worlds. 55 2 48 واتقوا يوما لا تجزي نفس عن نفس شيئا ولا يقبل منها شفاعة ولا يؤخذ منها عدل ولا هم ينصرون Guard yourselves against the Day when no soul can avail a thing to another, when neither intercession nor ransom shall be accepted from it, nor will they be helped. 56 2 49 وإذ نجيناكم من آل فرعون يسومونكم سوء العذاب يذبحون أبناءكم ويستحيون نساءكم وفي ذلكم بلاء من ربكم عظيم (Remember) how We saved you from Pharaoh's people who had oppressed you cruelly, slaying your sons and sparing your women.
