| | | You are the best nation ever to be brought forth for people. You order honor and forbid dishonor, and you believe in Allah. Had the People of the Book believed, it would have surely been better for them. Some of them are believers, but most of them are evildoers. |

| 404 | 3 | 111 | لن يضروكم إلا أذى وإن يقاتلوكم يولوكم الأدبار ثم لا ينصرون |
| | | They will not harm you except a little hurt. And if they fight against you, they will turn their backs. Then they will not be victorious. |

| | | Abasement shall be pitched upon them wherever they are found, except they are in a bond from Allah, and a bond of the people. They have incurred theAnger of Allah and have been humiliated, because they disbelieved the verses of Allah and unjustly slew His Prophets and because they disobeyed and were transgressors. |

| | | Whatever good they do, for them it shall not be denied. Allah knows the cautious. |

| | | As for those who disbelieve, neither their riches nor their children shall help them a thing from Allah. They are the people of the Fire, and there they shall remain for ever. |

| 410 | 3 | 117 | مثل ما ينفقون في هذه الحياة الدنيا كمثل ريح فيها صر أصابت حرث قوم ظلموا أنفسهم فأهلكته وما ظلمهم الله ولكن أنفسهم يظلمون |
| | | The wealth they spend in this worldly life is like a freezing wind that smites the harvest of a people who have wronged themselves and destroys it. Allah has not wronged them, but they wronged themselves. |
