| | | When they were told, "There is no deity but God," they turned away with disdain, |

| 3824 | 37 | 36 | ويقولون أئنا لتاركو آلهتنا لشاعر مجنون |
| | | and replied, "Shall we then give up our deities at the bidding of a mad poet?" |

| 3825 | 37 | 37 | بل جاء بالحق وصدق المرسلين |
| | | "Surely, he has brought the truth, confirming those who were sent before; |

| 3826 | 37 | 38 | إنكم لذائقو العذاب الأليم |
| | | you shall surely taste the painful punishment, |
|
| 3827 | 37 | 39 | وما تجزون إلا ما كنتم تعملون |
| | | and be rewarded only according to your deeds." |
|
| 3828 | 37 | 40 | إلا عباد الله المخلصين |
| | | But the chosen servants of God; |
|
| 3829 | 37 | 41 | أولئك لهم رزق معلوم |
| | | shall have a known provision -- |
|
| 3830 | 37 | 42 | فواكه وهم مكرمون |
| | | fruits of various kinds; and they shall be honoured, |
