He createth whatsoever He listeth: and He is Knower, the Potent. 3464 30 55 ويوم تقوم الساعة يقسم المجرمون ما لبثوا غير ساعة كذلك كانوا يؤفكون And on the Day whereon the Hour arriveth, the Culprits Will swear that they tarried not but an hour: Thus Were they ever deluded. 3465 30 56 وقال الذين أوتوا العلم والإيمان لقد لبثتم في كتاب الله إلى يوم البعث فهذا يوم البعث ولكنكم كنتم لا تعلمون And those who have been vouchsafed knowledge and belief will say: assuredly ye have tarried according to the decree of Allah until the Day of Upraising; so this is the Day of Upraising, but ye were wont not to know. 3466 30 57 فيومئذ لا ينفع الذين ظلموا معذرتهم ولا هم يستعتبون On that Day the excusing of themselves will not profit those who did wrong, nor shall they be suffered to please Allah. 3467 30 58 ولقد ضربنا للناس في هذا القرآن من كل مثل ولئن جئتهم بآية ليقولن الذين كفروا إن أنتم إلا مبطلون And assuredly We have propounded for mankind, in this Qur'an, every kind of similitude; and if thou bringest unto them a sign, those who disbelieve are sure to say: ye are but followers of falsehood. 3468 30 59 كذلك يطبع الله على قلوب الذين لا يعلمون In this wise Allah sealeth the hearts of those who believe not. 3469 30 60 فاصبر إن وعد الله حق ولا يستخفنك الذين لا يوقنون So have thou patience; verily the promise of Allah is true.
