He does not love the unbelievers. 3455 30 46 ومن آياته أن يرسل الرياح مبشرات وليذيقكم من رحمته ولتجري الفلك بأمره ولتبتغوا من فضله ولعلكم تشكرون Some evidence of His existence is His sending the glad-news-bearing winds so that He would let you to receive His mercy, cause the ships to sail by His command, and let you seek His favor so that perhaps you would give Him thanks. 3456 30 47 ولقد أرسلنا من قبلك رسلا إلى قومهم فجاءوهم بالبينات فانتقمنا من الذين أجرموا وكان حقا علينا نصر المؤمنين (Muhammad), We had sent before you Our Messengers to their people. The Messengers showed them clear miracles and We took revenge on the criminals. It was necessary for Us to help the believers. 3457 30 48 الله الذي يرسل الرياح فتثير سحابا فيبسطه في السماء كيف يشاء ويجعله كسفا فترى الودق يخرج من خلاله فإذا أصاب به من يشاء من عباده إذا هم يستبشرون It is God who sends the winds to raise the clouds. He spreads them in the sky as He wants, then He intensifies them, and then you can see the rain coming down from the cloud. When He sends it down upon whichever of His servants He wants, they rejoice 3458 30 49 وإن كانوا من قبل أن ينزل عليهم من قبله لمبلسين at the rainfall, though before that they had been in despair. 3459 30 50 فانظر إلى آثار رحمت الله كيف يحيي الأرض بعد موتها إن ذلك لمحيي الموتى وهو على كل شيء قدير Look at the traces of the mercy of God, how He has revived the dead earth. God revives the dead; He has power over all things. 3460 30 51 ولئن أرسلنا ريحا فرأوه مصفرا لظلوا من بعده يكفرون Even if We had sent the wind and caused (the plants) to turn yellow and to fade away, they would still have remained in disbelief. 3461 30 52 فإنك لا تسمع الموتى ولا تسمع الصم الدعاء إذا ولوا مدبرين You cannot make the dead listen, nor the deaf hear. Thus, they, (the disbelievers), turn away on their heels. 3462 30 53 وما أنت بهاد العمي عن ضلالتهم إن تسمع إلا من يؤمن بآياتنا فهم مسلمون You cannot guide the straying blind. You can make no one listen except those who believe in Our revelations and are Muslims. 3463 30 54 الله الذي خلقكم من ضعف ثم جعل من بعد ضعف قوة ثم جعل من بعد قوة ضعفا وشيبة يخلق ما يشاء وهو العليم القدير It is God who has created you weak, then, given you strength after your weakness and caused you to become weak and old after being strong. He creates whatever He wants.
