Most of them were idolaters.” 3452 30 43 فأقم وجهك للدين القيم من قبل أن يأتي يوم لا مرد له من الله يومئذ يصدعون So devote yourself to the upright religion, before there comes from God a Day that cannot be averted. On that Day, they will be shocked. 3453 30 44 من كفر فعليه كفره ومن عمل صالحا فلأنفسهم يمهدون Whoever disbelieves, upon him falls his disbelief. And whoever acts righteously—they are preparing for themselves. 3454 30 45 ليجزي الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات من فضله إنه لا يحب الكافرين So that He may reward those who have believed and done the righteous deeds out of His bounty. Indeed, He does not love the ungrateful. 3455 30 46 ومن آياته أن يرسل الرياح مبشرات وليذيقكم من رحمته ولتجري الفلك بأمره ولتبتغوا من فضله ولعلكم تشكرون And of His signs is that He sends the winds bearing good news, to give you a taste of His mercy, and so that the ships may sail by His command, and so that you may seek of His bounty, and so that you may give thanks. 3456 30 47 ولقد أرسلنا من قبلك رسلا إلى قومهم فجاءوهم بالبينات فانتقمنا من الذين أجرموا وكان حقا علينا نصر المؤمنين Before you, We sent messengers to their people. They came to them with clear proofs. Then We took revenge on those who sinned. It is incumbent on Us to help the believers. 3457 30 48 الله الذي يرسل الرياح فتثير سحابا فيبسطه في السماء كيف يشاء ويجعله كسفا فترى الودق يخرج من خلاله فإذا أصاب به من يشاء من عباده إذا هم يستبشرون God is He who sends the winds. They stir up clouds. Then He spreads them in the sky as He wills. And He breaks them apart. Then you see rain drops issuing from their midst. Then, when He makes it fall upon whom He wills of His servants, behold, they rejoice. 3458 30 49 وإن كانوا من قبل أن ينزل عليهم من قبله لمبلسين Although they were before this—before it was sent down upon them—in despair. 3459 30 50 فانظر إلى آثار رحمت الله كيف يحيي الأرض بعد موتها إن ذلك لمحيي الموتى وهو على كل شيء قدير So observe the effects of God’s mercy—how He revives the earth after it was dead. Indeed, He is the Reviver of the dead.
