If only they were guided. 3317 28 65 ويوم يناديهم فيقول ماذا أجبتم المرسلين On the Day when He will call to them, and say, “What did you answer the Messengers?” 3318 28 66 فعميت عليهم الأنباء يومئذ فهم لا يتساءلون They will be blinded by the facts on that Day, and they will not question each other. 3319 28 67 فأما من تاب وآمن وعمل صالحا فعسى أن يكون من المفلحين But he who repents, and believes, and does righteous deeds, may well be among the winners. 3320 28 68 وربك يخلق ما يشاء ويختار ما كان لهم الخيرة سبحان الله وتعالى عما يشركون Your Lord creates whatever He wills, and He chooses. The choice is not theirs. Glory be to God, and exalted be He above the associations they make. 3321 28 69 وربك يعلم ما تكن صدورهم وما يعلنون And your Lord knows what their hearts conceal, and what they reveal. 3322 28 70 وهو الله لا إله إلا هو له الحمد في الأولى والآخرة وله الحكم وإليه ترجعون And He is God. There is no god but He. To Him belongs all praise in this life, and in the next. And His is the decision, and to Him you will be returned. 3323 28 71 قل أرأيتم إن جعل الله عليكم الليل سرمدا إلى يوم القيامة من إله غير الله يأتيكم بضياء أفلا تسمعون Say, “Have you considered? Had God made the night perpetual over you until the Day of Resurrection, which god other than God will bring you illumination?
