Moses said to him, 'Clearly thou art, a quarreller.' 3271 28 19 فلما أن أراد أن يبطش بالذي هو عدو لهما قال يا موسى أتريد أن تقتلني كما قتلت نفسا بالأمس إن تريد إلا أن تكون جبارا في الأرض وما تريد أن تكون من المصلحين But when he would have assaulted the man who was an enemy to them both, the man said, 'Moses, dost thou' desire to slay me, even as thou slewest a living 'soul yesterday? Thou only desirest to be a tyrant in the land; thou desirest not to be of them that put things right.' 3272 28 20 وجاء رجل من أقصى المدينة يسعى قال يا موسى إن الملأ يأتمرون بك ليقتلوك فاخرج إني لك من الناصحين Then came a man from the furthest part of the city, running; he said, 'Moses, the Council are conspiring to slay thee. Depart; I am one of thy sincere advisers.' 3273 28 21 فخرج منها خائفا يترقب قال رب نجني من القوم الظالمين So he departed therefrom, fearful and vigilant; he said, 'My Lord, deliver me from the people of the evildoers.' 3274 28 22 ولما توجه تلقاء مدين قال عسى ربي أن يهديني سواء السبيل And when he turned his face towards Midian he said, 'It may be that my Lord will guide me 3275 28 23 ولما ورد ماء مدين وجد عليه أمة من الناس يسقون ووجد من دونهم امرأتين تذودان قال ما خطبكما قالتا لا نسقي حتى يصدر الرعاء وأبونا شيخ كبير On the right way.
