Certainly you stand on positive truth. 3239 27 80 إنك لا تسمع الموتى ولا تسمع الصم الدعاء إذا ولوا مدبرين You cannot make the dead to listen, or the deaf to hear the call, when they have turned their backs, 3240 27 81 وما أنت بهادي العمي عن ضلالتهم إن تسمع إلا من يؤمن بآياتنا فهم مسلمون Nor can you lead the blind when they have gone astray. You can make none hear except those who believe in Our signs and have come to peace and submission. 3241 27 82 وإذا وقع القول عليهم أخرجنا لهم دابة من الأرض تكلمهم أن الناس كانوا بآياتنا لا يوقنون When the sentence will have been passed against them, We shall bring forth beastly brutes from the earth who will torment them, for men certainly do not believe Our signs. 3242 27 83 ويوم نحشر من كل أمة فوجا ممن يكذب بآياتنا فهم يوزعون The day We shall gather from every community a section of those who denied Our signs, and they will be brought (in separate groups), 3243 27 84 حتى إذا جاءوا قال أكذبتم بآياتي ولم تحيطوا بها علما أماذا كنتم تعملون So that when they come (before the Lord) He will say: "Did you deny My signs without having understood them?
