We shall drive them from their town, humble, and disgraced." 3197 27 38 قال يا أيها الملأ أيكم يأتيني بعرشها قبل أن يأتوني مسلمين Solomon asked his people, "Who among you can bring her throne before (she, the queen of Sheba) comes to me submissively?" 3198 27 39 قال عفريت من الجن أنا آتيك به قبل أن تقوم من مقامك وإني عليه لقوي أمين A monstrous jinn said, "I can bring it before you even stand up. I am powerful and trustworthy". 3199 27 40 قال الذي عنده علم من الكتاب أنا آتيك به قبل أن يرتد إليك طرفك فلما رآه مستقرا عنده قال هذا من فضل ربي ليبلوني أأشكر أم أكفر ومن شكر فإنما يشكر لنفسه ومن كفر فإن ربي غني كريم The one who had knowledge from the Book said, "I can bring it to you before you even blink your eye." When Solomon saw the throne placed before him, he said, "This is a favor from my Lord by which He wants to test whether I am grateful or ungrateful. Whoever thanks God does so for his own good. Whoever is ungrateful to God should know that my Lord is Self-Sufficient and Benevolent." 3200 27 41 قال نكروا لها عرشها ننظر أتهتدي أم تكون من الذين لا يهتدون Then he said, "Make a few changes to her throne and let us see whether she will recognize it or not." 3201 27 42 فلما جاءت قيل أهكذا عرشك قالت كأنه هو وأوتينا العلم من قبلها وكنا مسلمين When she came she was asked, "Is your throne like this?" She replied, "It seems that this is it.
