They dare say that “He has fabricated it”? Say, “Then bring one chapter like it and, other than Allah, call everyone you can if you are truthful.” 1403 10 39 بل كذبوا بما لم يحيطوا بعلمه ولما يأتهم تأويله كذلك كذب الذين من قبلهم فانظر كيف كان عاقبة الظالمين On the contrary, they denied the thing the knowledge of which they could not master, whereas they have not yet seen its outcome; similarly those before them had denied, therefore see what sort of fate befell the unjust! 1404 10 40 ومنهم من يؤمن به ومنهم من لا يؤمن به وربك أعلم بالمفسدين And among them is one who accepts faith in it, and among them is one who does not accept faith in it; and your Lord well knows the mischievous. 1405 10 41 وإن كذبوك فقل لي عملي ولكم عملكم أنتم بريئون مما أعمل وأنا بريء مما تعملون And if they deny you, say, “For me are my deeds, and for you are your deeds; you have no concern with what I do, and I have no relation with what you do.” 1406 10 42 ومنهم من يستمعون إليك أفأنت تسمع الصم ولو كانوا لا يعقلون And among them are some who listen to you; so will you make the deaf hear even if they do not have any sense? 1407 10 43 ومنهم من ينظر إليك أفأنت تهدي العمي ولو كانوا لا يبصرون And among them is one who gazes at you; so will you guide the blind* even if they cannot perceive?
