They will surely say, 'God.' Then say: 'Will you not be godfearing?' 1396 10 32 فذلكم الله ربكم الحق فماذا بعد الحق إلا الضلال فأنى تصرفون That then is God, your Lord, the True; what is there, after truth, but error? Then how are you turned about? 1397 10 33 كذلك حقت كلمت ربك على الذين فسقوا أنهم لا يؤمنون Thus the word of thy Lord is realized against the ungodly that they believe not. 1398 10 34 قل هل من شركائكم من يبدأ الخلق ثم يعيده قل الله يبدأ الخلق ثم يعيده فأنى تؤفكون Say: 'Is there any of your associates who originates creation, then brings it back again?' Say: 'God -- He originates creation, then brings it back again; so how are you perverted?' 1399 10 35 قل هل من شركائكم من يهدي إلى الحق قل الله يهدي للحق أفمن يهدي إلى الحق أحق أن يتبع أمن لا يهدي إلا أن يهدى فما لكم كيف تحكمون Say: 'Is there any of your associates who guides to the truth?' Say: 'God -- He guides to the truth; and which is worthier to be followed -- He who guides to the truth, or he who guides not unless he is guided? What then ails you, how you judge?' 1400 10 36 وما يتبع أكثرهم إلا ظنا إن الظن لا يغني من الحق شيئا إن الله عليم بما يفعلون And the most of them follow only surmise, and surmise avails naught against truth. Surely God knows the things they do. 1401 10 37 وما كان هذا القرآن أن يفترى من دون الله ولكن تصديق الذي بين يديه وتفصيل الكتاب لا ريب فيه من رب العالمين This Koran could not have been forged apart from God; but it is a confirmation of what is before it, and a distinguishing of the Book, wherein is no doubt, from the Lord of all Being. 1402 10 38 أم يقولون افتراه قل فأتوا بسورة مثله وادعوا من استطعتم من دون الله إن كنتم صادقين Or do they say, 'Why, he has forged it'?
