So relate the stories that perhaps they will give thought. 1131 7 177 ساء مثلا القوم الذين كذبوا بآياتنا وأنفسهم كانوا يظلمون How evil an example [is that of] the people who denied Our signs and used to wrong themselves. 1132 7 178 من يهد الله فهو المهتدي ومن يضلل فأولئك هم الخاسرون Whoever Allah guides - he is the [rightly] guided; and whoever He sends astray - it is those who are the losers. 1133 7 179 ولقد ذرأنا لجهنم كثيرا من الجن والإنس لهم قلوب لا يفقهون بها ولهم أعين لا يبصرون بها ولهم آذان لا يسمعون بها أولئك كالأنعام بل هم أضل أولئك هم الغافلون And We have certainly created for Hell many of the jinn and mankind. They have hearts with which they do not understand, they have eyes with which they do not see, and they have ears with which they do not hear. Those are like livestock; rather, they are more astray. It is they who are the heedless. 1134 7 180 ولله الأسماء الحسنى فادعوه بها وذروا الذين يلحدون في أسمائه سيجزون ما كانوا يعملون And to Allah belong the best names, so invoke Him by them. And leave [the company of] those who practice deviation concerning His names. They will be recompensed for what they have been doing. 1135 7 181 وممن خلقنا أمة يهدون بالحق وبه يعدلون And among those We created is a community which guides by truth and thereby establishes justice. 1136 7 182 والذين كذبوا بآياتنا سنستدرجهم من حيث لا يعلمون But those who deny Our signs - We will progressively lead them [to destruction] from where they do not know. 1137 7 183 وأملي لهم إن كيدي متين And I will give them time. Indeed, my plan is firm. 1138 7 184 أولم يتفكروا ما بصاحبهم من جنة إن هو إلا نذير مبين Then do they not give thought? There is in their companion [Muhammad] no madness. He is not but a clear warner. 1139 7 185 أولم ينظروا في ملكوت السماوات والأرض وما خلق الله من شيء وأن عسى أن يكون قد اقترب أجلهم فبأي حديث بعده يؤمنون Do they not look into the realm of the heavens and the earth and everything that Allah has created and [think] that perhaps their appointed time has come near?
